Measurement of Mesh Grounding Resistance

Introduction :

Measuring mesh grounding resistance can get a correct value only by test current supply method voltage drop, and the value should be maintained below standard by measuring regularly while not only completing but also utilizing eletrical facilities

Diagnosis method :

Selecting the place of valtage, current assistant pole → Arranging the minimum test current value → Arranging the capacity of the test current source → Selecting a node to measure voltage and inflow of current → alculating grounding resistance

Diagnosis object :

  • Large - scale earthing structure
  • Mesh grounding at an electric power substation
  • A grounding pole used as construction structure

Expected effect :

Reducing errors of measuring value due to inductive disturbance from the outside
